We have real life heroes on our team, and it’s official. Here’s the story:

What makes a hero? We use this title all of the time to honor someone who has done something exceptional. It tends to get over-used, which often dilutes the meaning.

Merriam-Webster defines a hero as: “A person admired for achievements and noble qualities,” or “one who shows great courage.” We like to define our heroes as those who sacrifice their time, their plans, and their good for the benefit of others. Easley heroes show Tribal Love to our customers, vendors, and employees. A hero will go out of their way in the face of trouble or fear to make life better for the ones that they are serving.

Last week, one of our VIP customers presented Hero Awards to two of our drivers. Both Orlando Jackson and Anthony Jones have been serving this particular customer as Dedicated Drivers for the past two years. Our customer chose to recognize these drivers for their outstanding service and dedication. They called them Heroes.

We think it’s a big deal to be called a Hero, especially by a customer. We applaud the level of service by both Orlando and Anthony. As a service-based transportation provider, this is what we aim for each day. Way to go, gentlemen! You make us proud.
